NEWS RELEASE
“Married Couples
Conference” in search of Firefighters to attend
annual Conference in Ocean City, MD
WASHINGTON, DC (25 February 2007) – The annual
married couples conference will be held in Ocean
City, Maryland. This year’s conference
will be held at the Princess Royale, ocean side,
October 19th – 21st.
According
to D.C. Fire and EMS Lieutenant Craig W. Duck,
with the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters
International, “We are seeking firefighters from
around this great country to attend this event”.
Marriages within the fire service are in some
serious need of help, and the Fellowship of
Christian Firefighters is here to help.
DIVORCE
AMONG AMERICA’S FIREFIGHTERS ON AVERAGE IS 75%;
SOME FIRE DEPARTMENTS ARE EVEN HIGHER.
TODAY’S
FIREFIGHTERS ARE EXPERIENCING MORE STRESS THAN
EVER BEFORE ON THE JOB.
CURRENTLY FIRE DEPARTMENTS OFFER LITTLE HELP TO
FIREFIGHTERS THAT ARE EXPERIENCING MARITAL
PROBLEMS.
As coordinator for the Married Couples
Conference, Lieutenant Duck is seeking all types
of firefighters. Whether your marriage is
great, or needs some help you will be encouraged
and taught how to make your marriage stronger
than ever. All firefighters are invited to
attend this conference; you do not need to be a
member of the Fellowship of Christian
Firefighters International.
This
year’s conference will have the following
speakers to encourage us
-
Focus on
the Families – Mitch Temple
-
Chaplain
Ray Guinta – Author of “God at ground zero”
and president of We care ministries
-
